Easter has always been my favorite holiday. I love the beginning of spring, the bright colors, the Easter grass, the family get together...etc, etc, etc. This year we hosted Easter dinner at our house along with an Easter egg hunt. It was so much fun to have little ones to watch run around the backyard and hunt for eggs with little treasures. Since Jacob is a little too old for the egg hunt, we hid 3 golden eggs for him. The first two had money, of course, but the third held a letter introducing him to his biggest gift, a new puppy! I know, some of you are thinking I am crazy to take on another dog, but we are excited. In about a week we will be the proud owners of a Goldendoodle. Yep, that is a mix of Golden retriever and Standard Poodle. A VERY smart dog, and no shedding to boot (my one stipulation). This dog will be Jacob's but will bring the whole family a lot of joy. For now, the puppy's name is "Griffin" from the breeders. Jacob is so excited! I have posted a picture of the little guy below along with some great ones from Easter. We have 24 friends and family members join us on Easter, and it was filled with joy. We hope you all enjoyed your Easter and time with family.
