Ok, turning 30 wasn't so bad, but 31! Now, don't get me wrong, it is not because I think I am getting old, but because I really can't believe how fast life is flying by. All I have to do is look at Jacob who is going into high school, or Amelia who is about to turn two and I gulp as I realize how fast they both are growing up. This year was another great birthday. As long as I can remember my parents have made a big deal about our birthday, and this year was no different. Luckily for me, I have amazing girlfriends and a wonderful husband who make it special for me every year!
On our actual birthday, Deb and I spent the morning with our kiddos together and then went to the spa for nails & waxing while mom stayed with the babies during their naps. Then, my sweet in-laws had a quick dinner for me on their patio. Followed up by dessert with the girls. SO many good desserts, good drinks, and good conversation. As usual, they made both me & Deb feel very special and spoiled us rotten!

Sunday night we got to celebrate with our hubbies. They are the greatest, our Jasons. They took us to dinner at Vesta Dipping Grill and we had a great time. In Jason R's words: "The most expensive dinner every year." And I would like to add, "And the most fun!"
