Shamless Plug

I am taking my friend Jen's lead and posting a sham less plug for my sister. Those of you who know Deborah at all know that she is an incredibly, talented scrapbooker and it is her absolute passion to boot! She also wears SO many hats...Wife, Mother, Sister, Daughter, Body Shop Consultant, Employee, Best Friend, Scrapbook Teacher, etc, etc, etc. She has been working tirelessly on getting ready for her first ever Craft Fair operating under her new company name, Simply Thoughtful. She has been up many late nights creating amazing handcrafted items. So, I wanted to plug her debut here:

I will be there to support her, go on coffee runs, smile and nod. So, if you are available that day and can stop by the booth, we would love to see you! This is the biggest craft fair in CO and sure to get you in the holiday spirit. Hope to see you there!

Drum Roll Please

Yep...that is what I hear around my house 24/7 now! :) Jake is taking percussion in school this semester and is learning the drums...every parent's wish right? Well, he really likes it and tonight we got to go to his first concert to see him in action. We were very impressed and proud of him. They started off with a few songs to warm up and then busted out into a mini version of "Stomp." It was very cool. I couldn't get my camera too close, but I was happy with a few of them. Way to go, Jake! Keep drumming...just not while Amelia is asleep! :)

Amelia loved watching Jacob and clapped & yelled "Yeah, Jacob." So sweet!

How Can It Be???

...that our little Jacob is now old enough to go to freshman Homecoming??? I am sure I am just in denial, but it has all gone so quickly. He certainly is not our "little" Jacob anymore! Here is a quick photo of him from his Homecoming Dance this past weekend. I can hardly believe we are at this point! He sure is handsome...takes after his daddy!

Colorful Colorado

It is my opinion that the reason this state is called Colorful has to do a bit with the fall. It is so beautiful in the fall. I have friends that take a "fall drive" every year to the same place just to see the beauty fall in Colorado has to offer. I have good intentions every year to take a fall drive myself, but with no success. However, a couple of weekends ago Amelia and I spent a few days in Drake with Mom & Dad, and luckily, the trees were beginning to turn, so I got my fall pictures. Here are a few...we truly enjoyed hanging out with my parents, seeing old friends, going to Estes Park for the day, going to a very cool park in Big Tompson canyon...fall in Colorado, there aren't too many more beautiful things in the world, unless we are talking about my kids! Enjoy the pics!
