Yep, we can hardly believe it...by July Estes Park will be my Mom & Dad's new city, or is it just a town? Town of Estes Park, City of Estes Park?? I think I have to look that one up. We are sad and happy at the same time. Sad that they will be further away, but happy that their dream is coming true...well, at least mom's. My Mom's dream has always been to retire and move to the mountains. The retired part is complete, and now, my wonderful father is giving her a mountain retreat. Here are a few pictures of their new abode.

So, this weekend, we packed up the kiddos and headed up the mountain to help them paint and get ready to move in. Everyone joined in. After the work was done, the boys headed to the lake to fish. Jake got to try out his new rod & reel Grandpa Garrett gave him. And, of course, the girls went shopping. We met up for dinner before heading home. It was a lot of fun, and we hope to enjoy many trips to visit Grandma & Grandpa.

Bitter sweet, but it will give you all more reasons to head north! We can meet you up there sometime-- we have a time share there and are planning to spend a couple of days there this summer! We can hike around in the Rocky Mountain National Park too (without your stroller)!
So happy for your mom and dad (is he totally done in Vegas?)! Please give them my best!
